The goods turnover between Armenia and Kuban increased by almost 15% over the course of 2021

A delegation of the Republic of Armenia has arrived to Kuban searching for business partners in the field of supplies of food, agricultural products, household cleaning products, and packaging.

The event was organised by the Export Support Centre of the Krasnodar Krai together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of the national project «International cooperation and export».

«In 2021, the goods turnover between Kuban and Armenia increased by almost 15% and exceeded $111.4 million. Trade and economic relations between the Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Armenia have strong potential which can also be fulfilled through such events,» said Nikolay Korsakov, Head of the Office of Investment Marketing and Export of the Department of Investment and Development of SME of the Krasnodar Krai.

The scheduled events include negotiations between the entrepreneurs of Armenia and the Krasnodar Krai and visits to the leading Kuban enterprises seeking to export their products.

Kuban ranks No. 9 among Russian regions in the volumes of non-resource and non-energy exports to Armenia. Deliveries mainly include grain, sunflower, sugar, and fruit and vegetable products.
